February has been a month of resilience, momentum and big performances across Navan Hockey Club, with every section showing heart and determination as the season continues.

Our Men’s XI secured back-to-back 1–0 victories and two clean sheets, collecting six crucial points in their Division 4 campaign. With a full squad available, The Badgers combined defensive discipline with clinical finishing to build real belief heading into the next fixtures.

The Ladies Team demonstrated incredible spirit over a demanding fortnight, battling bravely against league leaders before producing a thrilling late win the following week. Grit, teamwork and composure under pressure were on full display.

Our Juvenile Boys took part in a competitive 5-a-side blitz in Avoca, gaining valuable match experience across seven games against strong opposition, an important step in their development. Off the pitch, we’re proud that 12 members completed their Safeguarding course this month, reinforcing our commitment to a safe, inclusive environment. With further coaching courses planned and exciting initiatives like Walking Hockey and Hockey ID in preparation, alongside our collaboration with Meath Sports Partnership, the future of Navan Hockey Club continues to grow stronger.

Thank you to all our players, coaches, volunteers and supporters, let’s keep the momentum going!
